Superdrug's B. Makeup Brush Cleanser

Brush cleaning is one of those jobs all beauty bloggers hate doing but it just has to be done.
When it comes to cleaning my brushes, I'd like to give them a good deep clean every week or so, but sometimes that just doesn't happen!
I was on the hunt for a product I could use to give my brushes a quick spot clean on a daily basis.
I have used the MAC Brush Cleanser before but was on the hunt for something from the drugstore.

When in my local Superdrug I spotted the B. Makeup Brush Cleanser.
B. are a brand I have heard of before but have never actually tried, so when I saw they had a brush cleaner I knew I had to pick it up.
A conditioning brush cleanser that disinfects and cleans cosmetic brushes. Gentle formula - Suitable for use on both synthetic and natural bristles, and gentle enough for everyday use. Antibacterial - Scientifically proven to remove bacteria. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Made in the U.K.
It has an easy to use spray pump, so you can determine how much you use at once.

If you're not familiar with spot brush cleansing, it's essentially a quick way to remove the bulk of make up from brushes and a daily way to refresh and prevent germs from breeding. It's a great way to keep your brushes clean before you have the time (or effort) to give them a deep clean. May I add that spot cleansing should never replace actually washing your brushes regularly.
To spot clean, simply mist the brush cleanser on the bristles, swirl the brush on the muslin cloth (continue to do so until the bristles are clean) and leave to dry naturally.

B.Makeup Brush Cleanser - £4.99 (100ml) or £6 (250ml) with muslin cloth.

How regularly do you clean your makeup brushes?

  2. I really need to get my hands on this as I'm terrible at brush washing (I hardly ever do it) - this sounds so easy to use!

  3. I currently use MAC's Brush Cleanser, but I end up going through a bottle quite quickly and have wanted to try something cheaper. I love that this one has a spritz, so I'll definitely be adding it to my basket next time I'm in Superdrug!

  4. superdrug have seemed to have stopped selling the 250 ml - why sell something good and then not make as much money as you can from it.
