Maybelline Beauty Haul

I haven't bought new makeup in what seems like forever! So when I was browsing the makeup isles in Boots yesterday with my mum, I wandered over to the Maybelline stand where I noticed it was 3 for 2. I spotted the gorgeous Colorsensational Elixir Lip Lacquers - £6.99 and started swatching away. I eventually settled on Alluring Coral, which is exactly that. A lovely bright coral shade that'll be perfect for Summer. (I also have my eyes on quite a few other shades so I may have to take another trip back!)

Next I picked up the new Master Sculpt Contouring Kit - £6.99, which the ever so gorgeous Mollie King is the face of. I picked up the lightest shade in Light/Medium and I can't wait to try this out. It comes with a decent sized mirror and also a brush underneath, so you can apply on the go.
The last thing I picked up was the Matte Maker Face Powder - £3.99 in the shade 20 Nude Beige. I am always on the look out for drugstore face powders as I am getting very low of my beloved MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural and can't quite justify spending near on £23 for a powder at this current time. So fingers crossed this can keep me going until I am reunited with my fave.

I will be writing individual reviews on each of these products, so keep your eyes peeled!

Have you picked up anything from the Maybelline 3 for 2?

What I Buy With The Boots NO7 Vouchers

Oh how I love being handed one of these vouchers at the end of my transactions in Boots. They are currently available if you spend over £5 on anything in store and they are valid until Sunday 5th July.
Seeing as I used two vouchers today and received another two, I thought I would share with you what I normally buy when I receive these vouchers and I would love to know what you purchase too.
When it comes to paying for these, I ask to do them in two different transactions so I get the best possible discount, much to the cashiers annoyance.

NO7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes - £7 - £2 with voucher | I don't tend to use makeup wipes to remove my makeup but if I do, I use these. At £7 a pack, I never buy them without the voucher but these have to be the nicest facial wipes to remove makeup. They are a decent size and feel lovely and soft on the face.

NO7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser - £9.95 - £4.95 with voucher | I have used this cleanser for a good 2-3 years now and it is my go to product to remove my makeup. I don't have a clue of how many I have gone through but I always make sure I pick one up when I have the voucher!

If you would like a review on any the products mentioned above, please let me know in the comment section below also along with your NO7 favourites!
I never seem to use the £3 off voucher for the makeup, so I would love to know if you do and what you purchase with it.

Halo Wipes | I'm A Halo Angel

Halo are a brand that I have followed on Twitter for ages but have never actually tried, so when I saw that they were looking for a 'Skincare Halo Angel' to review some of their skincare wipes, I thought why not and messaged them.
I was very kindly picked and I'm now officially a 'Halo Angel'. I will be reviewing their products and sharing my thoughts with you all.

Halo have a range of wipes for all your different needs. They all come in handy little packets, perfect for when you are on the go.
Each little pack contains 10 wipes apart from the Eye Makeup Remover wipes which contain 30. I received their; Fragrance Free Facial wipes*, Hand wipes*, Eye Makeup Remover wipes*, Deodorant wipes*, Antibacterial Multi-Surface wipes* and the Moistened Toilet Tissue wipes*.

These are the perfect sized for travelling and to pop in your handbag. I will definitely get a lot of use out of these when I go to Florida in September as they will fit perfectly in my hand luggage and will be the ideal size to carry around the parks.

Halo Wipes are available to purchase at Boots, Sainsburys, Spar and Superdrug and range from £1-£2.

Have you tried Halo Wipes before?

7th Heaven Face Masks | Manuka Honey Peel - Off & Argan Oil Mud

On my recent shopping trip, I picked up a couple of the new 7th Heaven face masks (previously known as Montagne Jeunesse - a name I could never pronounce, so I am quite happy they have changed it!). These are the face masks I used to use when I was in my teenage years at girly sleepovers and pamper evenings. I was pleasantly surprised that even after all these years, their prices have remained the same! As they are still very affordable, priced at £1 each, I decided to pick up two! I chose the Manuka Honey Peel Off Mask and the Argan Oil Mud Mask.

Manuka Honey Peel Off Mask
Busy Bees have collected nectar from the Manuka Bushes of New Zealand creating Manuka Honey - a natural anti-bacterial cleanser. They source pollen & we add the flower power of fragrant Jasmine.

Oh I do love a good peel off mask as it literally feels like you are peeling all of that rubbish out of your skin. I cleansed my face first and then applied a thin layer all over. This smelt and felt just like honey when I applied it and it also felt very cooling too. I left it on for approximately 10 minutes and by this time my face had tightened. I started to peel it off and I find this bit so satisfying as like I said before, it feels like all of the rubbish is being pulled out! Next I gently washed my face with my daily face wash and patted dry with a clean towel. My skin felt really smooth and looked like it was glowing.

Argan Oil Mud Mask
Embrace the natural joy of Moroccan Argan Oil coupled with antioxidant rich Acai Berries. This power duo join forces in this face mask to deeply cleanse pores, balance oil levels and bring tired skin back to life.

Like before, I cleansed my face before applying. This mask is light brown in colour and applied lovely and smooth. Again, I left this on for 10 minutes and the great thing about this mask is that although it applies brown, when it starts to dry it goes almost white. I really liked this as apart from the tightening feeling which indicates it's drying, you know when it goes white it's ready to wash off!
So after I looked like casper the ghost for 10 minutes, I took a warm flannel and gently started to buff away the mask and afterwards, I was left with amazing soft skin.

I'm so happy I picked up these face masks, not only for nostalgia reasons but because they are truly are amazing face masks for the price!

Have you tried these face masks?

My Top 5 Pink Lipsticks For Summer

Now I don't know about you but when I think of Summer, one of things I look forward to wearing is pink lipsticks! Although I wear pink lips all year round, I particularly love how they look in the sunshine with a gorgeously bronzed makeup look. Today I will be sharing with you my top 5 lipsticks for summer.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm In Elusive | I am not normally a fan of matte lipsticks but I really like this one. It's lovely and creamy and I would describe it as a milky pink. I would have to say it does look slightly better when I have a tan.

MAC Angel | This lipstick has been a favourite of mine for ages now and I think I can safely say, it's definitely my go to pink shade! It is very wearable and can be worn day or night and looks amazing with a smokey eye.

YSL Volupte Sheer In No4 | How beautiful is this packaging? This is my one and only YSL product and I love it. It is classed as a sheer lip product but it is very buildable. A few swipes creates a light raspberry pink shade but as it's buildable you can work it up to a lovely cerise shade. I also like how this slightly stains my lips too, making it last longer.

MAC Impassioned | This is definitely one of my much brighter and bolder pink shades. At first I was little scared that this would look crazy on my lips but I have found if I wear a neutral eye look and have my lips as the main focus, it looks amazing!

Benefit Lollibalm | I would say this is slightly more on the lilac side of things but it still has a pinky-ness to it. It applies lovely and light but like some of the other lip products I have mentioned, it's buildable. I like wearing this during the day as it gives a subtle tint to my lips but also keeps them feeling smooth and hydrated.

What are you fave pink lipsticks for Summer?

High Summer With Bon Marché & My Top Tips For Holiday Packing!

I was recently contacted by the high street brand Bon Marché asking if I would like to take part in their campaign called 'High Summer'. It's all about your top tips for holiday packing and your dream holiday. As I love all things summery and I am going on my dream holiday this year, I couldn't wait to take part.

They also very kindly sent me my very own holiday starter pack which includes all the beach essentials like swimwear, a sun hat, a summery beach bag, sun cream and of course a pair of sunglasses. Now Bon Marché are a shop I have never shopped in, so I was a bit unsure of what to expect but I have to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised!

I was able to choose my own piece of swimwear and I settled on this cute floral one piece. Now I don't normally wear one pieces but I thought this would be ideal for water parks, so you don't have any 'embarrassing moments' on the water slides.
I am a lover of floppy hats and this one is just perfect. It can be molded into shape and also comes with a cute polka dot band around the top, which is a nice added detail.
To go with the hat, I also received a cute straw bag which is the perfect size to take on a trip to the beach. If you're anything like me, you'll need a bag this size to fit in all your beachy essentials!
Just like the floppy hat, I am a big lover of over sized sunglasses. I can see myself wearing these on holiday as well as throughout the Summer. These are super comfy and do the job perfectly!
Of course you can't forget the Sun Cream, one of the most important beach essentials. I have used Piz Buin before, so I am very happy to have another bottle!

My Dream Holiday

My dream holiday would definitely be to visit Walt Disney World in Orlando and I can't believe that this year, my dreams are coming true! I will flying out to the land of dreams, for the very first time in September!
I have wanted to visit Disney World, ever since I was a little girl. It has always looked so magical and of course, being a huge Disney lover it's the perfect place to visit!

My Top Tips For Holiday Packing

Create A List

I love nothing more than making a good list and I get super excited when I make my holiday packing list! It's a simple but effective idea and I always do it. I tick/cross off the items when I have packed them in my suitcase, making sure I haven't forget anything. If you do struggle, you can easily type into google holiday packing lists, just to give you a few ideas of what to pack!

Wear Your Heavier Items

Kind of an obvious tip but make sure you wear your heaviest items and pack your lightest. Not only will you save space in your case, you'll also save on baggage allowance.

Roll Roll Roll

My boyfriend actually taught me this trick, so kudos to him! Roll every item that can be rolled as this will reduce creasing and will actually create more space in your suitcase.

Towel On Top

I always place my towel on top! Not only do I feel this helps keep everything neat and tidy and in place, but what's one of the first things you want to do when you arrive to the destination? Take a dip in the pool! It will be there handy, along with your swimwear of course!

Plan Your Outfits

Although it may be hard to plan what to wear one to two weeks in advance, it will reduce how much you take. I like to lay the possible outfits on my bed with all the accessories to see what I can mix and match.

Bon Marché are currently running an amazing competition where you could be in with a chance of winning a holiday of your choice worth £3,000!! Sounds pretty amazing right? If you would like to know more and would like to enter, click here.
Competition ends Saturday 6th June, so be quick!

What are your top tips for packing?
