Beauty Kitchen | Inspire Me Body Polish*

Beauty Kitchen are a company that create handmade skincare products with 100% natural ingredients. They have a range of products to help hydrate, cleanse, exfoliate and massage your skin. They also do some lovely products for the bath including some bath oils.
All their products come cutely packaged and have been made out of natural products or have been recycled.
I was recently contacted by a lovely lady called Kirsten and she very kindly sent me their Inspire Me Brightening & Toning Body Polish. One product I seem to use all year round is a body scrub. There's nothing more I like than the feeling of having lovely smooth skin. So I couldn't wait to try this.
I love the brightly coloured label along with the jar it comes in. It looks lovely siting in my bathroom along with my other bath products.

With natural smoothing oils, sage and detoxing mineral packed pink rock salt, this body polish is perfect for cellulite or stretch marks on legs, arms, bums & tums! The Himalayan pink salt removes any toxins from the skin while the Abyssinian oil deeply moisturises and softens. Bursting with vitamin E, lemongrass and grapefruit to brighten and tone even the driest, dullest skin.

The Inspire Me Body Polish has three main ingredients - Himalayan Pink SaltAbyssinian Oil and Lemongrass. These products are great for tackling stretch marks and to help fade cellulite.
The first thing I noticed when I opened this jar was the scent. I was greeted by a lovely fresh lemony scent along with the hint of grapefruit.
I apply this when I'm in the shower or bath. It does say you can apply it on dry skin but I have to admit, I found it worked better when my skin was slightly damp. I use a handful and find that's enough for my entire body - a little definitely goes a long way. I pay close attention to the rough areas like my elbows, knees and feet.
It does feel a little bit oily when first applied but once rubbed in it feels very smooth. The Himalayan Pink Salt is quite abrasive but I kind of like that. It feels like it is really working at getting rid of the dead skin.

I can't say I noticed a huge difference of it getting rid of my cellulite bits on the back of my legs but I did notice my skin felt amazingly soft and supple after using it. I use it once a week as this is definitely one of the slightly more abrasive scrubs I have tried and didn't want to over exfoliate my skin.
If you are looking for an intense body scrub or for products that are made out of all natural ingredients, I highly recommend you check out the Beauty Kitchen.

The Inspire Me range along with their other products can be purchased online but their Inspire Me range will soon be available to purchase in Holland & Barrett stores.

Instagram - #11

Instagram - emgraceblog

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these acrylic makeup storage solutions in none other than poundland! I bought two for my makeup and two for my lipsticks and nail varnishes. I have wanted to try some acrylic storage for a while now and I am very impressed by these. I have done a full post on them here.

I was contacted recently by the lovely people over at Venus With Love and they asked me if I wanted to create my own personalised locket. They have a selection of different chains and dangles you can choose from plus an array of charms. There is something for everyone and for any occasion you can think of. I think it's an unique idea and would make the perfect presents. I love my beautiful locket, click here to see it up close.

I saw this top in Primark and I have to admit I am 99.9% sure I am a Disney princess, so I thought it was only fitting that I picked it up. It cost £6 and I think I am going to save it for when I go to Disney World Florida in September. It will be the perfect tee to wear around the parks.

Like many other beauty bloggers, I picked up the March issue of Elle magazine purely for the Benefit Roller Lash mascara freebie. I really like the They're Real mascara, so I was interested in seeing how I got on with this one. Upon first use, I knew I was going to love it. It lifted my lashes and gave them lots of volume. Full review coming soon.

This is one of those products I have seen pop up a lot recently on Instagram - especially with celebrities. Coco White is an oil pulling teeth whitening treatment. It's meant to naturally whiten your teeth without causing sensitivity to those gnashers. It's a fourteen day treatment and I am on day nine. Full review to come when I have finished my treatment.

I bought this lil beauty off ebay. I thought it was only right that I counted down my holiday in style. There were a few different designs to choose from but I thought I would go for the typical red and white dotty theme. Every morning I wake up and change it, I'm so excited! I can't wait until I'm in double figures and then of course single figures!!

My mum and I took Dodger (our Irish Wolfhound) for a walk along the beach and I came across these cute pastel coloured beach huts. I think I said something like "ohhh these would make a perfect shot for Instagram" haha, so I had to take the photo.

I can't get enough of Taylor Swifts - 1989 album. I have it on repeat daily and I am loving her latest song, Style. It's such a lovely song and the video is beautiful. Go and have a watch if you haven't seen it already. I'm also loving Out Of The Woods, I Wish You Would and I Know Places.

Ever since I laid eyes on the triangl bikini range over a year ago, I have wanted one! I really want to get my hands on one before my holiday. I love the pink and orange design as these are two of my favourite colours. I think it's called the Lily - Strawberry bikini.

Feel free to leave your Instagram usernames...

Rodial Luxury Makeup Range*

Rodial is a company I have heard about, mainly for it's skincare but I never knew they had a makeup range. So when I was sent four of their makeup products to try, I was very excited indeed.
Rodial makeup is a tightly edited selection of make-up products designed to sculpt and define the face. They have a range of different products which have a universal shade that will suit all skin tones.
Their makeup range includes lip balms, mascaras, bronzing powders, brow pencils and highlighters.
The first thing I noticed with these products is the luxury packaging, especially the highlighting powder. It's quite a heavy compact, with a silver R on the top and black textured detail around it. Inside it has a big silver mirror which makes it perfect for on the go. The other products are also designed with that luxury feel in mind which is lovely and look great in my makeup collection.
Instaglam Compact Deluxe Illuminating Powder - £52* | I've never tried a highlighter like this before. The particles are very finely milled and it goes on my skin like a dream. It's a light champagne colour which highlighters the cheekbones beautifully. I use this on my cheekbones, cupids bow, inner corner of my eyes and just under my eyebrows.
Glamstick in Wet - £25* | This is such a gorgeous tinted lip balm. I would describe it as a coral/orangy shade which will perfect for the spring/summer time. It's enriched with Vitamin E and cocoa butter and it gives your lips a smooth finish with an irresistible sheen. These come in an array of shades. I really like the look of Bang and Revenge.
Instaglam Magic Pen Corrector - £22* | I apply a little bit of this under my eyes to help conceal the dark circles. I would say it's slightly on the heavier side of concealer, so you only need a little bit. I gently blend it out with my finger and I'm left wither brighter looking under eyes. I also like to use this as a base for my eye shadow.
Eye Sculpt 00 - £34* | This is a gorgeous deep brown shade, which is a mousse consistency. It has amazing staying powder and a little goes a long way. I applied it as a base to my eye makeup before a night out and it stayed put for the entire night. Even when I tried to remove my makeup, it still didn't want to budge. This is a perfect shade to use as a base for your eye shadows, or you can even wear it alone.

Overall I'm really impressed with Rodial makeup and really want to try more out of their range. I have my eye on a few more of their Glamsticks, the other powders in their range - Contour, Translucent and Bronzing powders and also their XXL Mascara.
If you are looking for a range of luxury makeup products, I definitely would recommend Rodial.

Review | Osmo Thermal Defense Spray*

I try and use as little heat as possible on my hair as I'm trying to grow it and keep it in a healthy condition. But there is the odd occasion, mainly on a night out when I want to style/curl my hair with curling tongs. So when I do use heat, I always make sure I use a heat protectant,
Today I will be reviewing the second Osmo hair product I received. This is the Osmo Thermal Defense Spray.

What They Say - "Don't radiate your mane of glory… protect and prevent from any heat seeking damage
- A thermal protector that defends your hair against the harsh effects of heat and the environment.
- Heat protection spray that coats every strand
- Created to gently nourish hair while protecting from heat styling abuse
- Creates a smooth and shiny finish as it seals in moisture
- Effective in protecting against UV damage
- Suitable for all hair types"

Again, like the other Osmo products I have tried, it smells like a hairdressing salon. A hard scent to describe but if you've been to a hairdressers, you'll know what I mean.
It sprays finely and evenly on the hair, which makes it easy to distribute with a hairbrush and style as desired.
I noticed that my hair didn't feel crispy or dry which I really liked, as sometimes you're hair can look very damaged after heat has been used, especially the ends.
It didn't weight down my hair or leave it looking greasy but instead it left my hair feeling very light and bouncy, which is great.
This is a product I will continue to use when I use heat appliances and I would recommend it if you're a heat tool junky.

Osmo Thermal Defense Spray - £4.50*

My Favourite Disney Films

Some of you may or may not know I am a huge Disney lover and I'm heading to Disney World Florida in September for the first time! So it's only right that I share with you my love for Disney in a variety of posts. Today's post, I'm going to share with you my favourite Disney films.
I found it really hard to narrow it down as I love them all for different reasons but the ones I have picked are the top four I could watch over again and again!

Aladdin | This has been my favourite film ever since I was little. If I remember correctly, this was the first Disney video I owned. Ever since watching Aladdin, I've always wanted a pet tiger and typically I would call it Rajah.
I sometimes feel that Princess Jasmine gets over looked as a princess but she is definitely one of my favourite princesses. I actually dressed up as her a good few years ago for a fancy dress party.

The Lion King | When choosing my favourite Disney film of all time, The Lion King and Aladdin always come joint top. I just can't choose!
I have been to the West End twice to see this and it was ah-mazing. If you love The Lion King I would most definitely suggest you go see it.
There's always a sad bit in Disney films and I have to admit I get more upset when I see animals dying than I do people. So when Mufasa dies, I have to look away. It's so sad!

Tangled | First things first, who doesn't want long blonde locks that elegantly tumble down to the ground. I certainly do, purely so I can recreate the cute plait the little girls create for Rapunzel.
My favourite song in this film is 'I see The Light', which is playing when Rapunzel sees all the beautifully decorated lanterns that her mother and father light every year on her birthday. It gives me goosebumps every time.

Beauty And The Beast | Each Disney film has a hidden message and I love that Beauty and The Best portrays that true beauty comes from within. I totally agree with this and Belle does too, when she falls in love with a prince who has been turned into a mysterious beast. I call my boyfriend a beast (in a nice way of course) and he calls me his beauty. We have actually bought matching 'Beauty' and 'Beast' jumpers that we are planning to wear around the parks but I will show you them in another post.

Stay turned for my favourite Disney Pixar Films.

What are your favourite Disney films?

Benefit Feelin' Dandy | Perk Me Up Lip & Cheek Kit

Benefit are definitely one of my favourite makeup brands. I have tried quite a few of their products and always find myself repurchasing the majority of them. Whilst browsing ASOS, I spotted these cute kits by Benefit designed with products in mind to give you a certain desired makeup look. They do a selection of kits based around their box powders. Seeing as I haven't tried Dandelion blush, any of their Ultra Plush Lipglosses or Posie Tint, I thought the Feelin' Dandy box was a perfect little kit to try. Also I had a £10 off voucher so I knew I had to have it.

Perk up with our “pink-me-ups” for a radiantly pretty look. Our pocket-size lip & cheek kit includes an iconic tint, award-winning cheek color, luscious lip gloss and sexy highlighter so you can add a pop of colour to your look…morning, noon or night.

This kit has everything you could need for your cheeks and lips to create a lovely soft pink romantic look. Inside it has Posie Tint, High Beam, Dandelion Blush and Dandelion Lipgloss. They're all super cute little travel size products which are always a winner with me as they are perfect for trying for the first time or for travelling.
Posie Tint is a gorgeous is a barbie-esque pink which gives the cheeks a flush of colour but also looks lovely on the lips.
High Beam is a lovely shimmery pink highlighter which looks gorgeous on your cheekbones.
Dandelion blush is a soft girlie pink which gives your cheeks a soft pink hint of colour.
Dandelion lipgloss is a shimmery pink with a slight peachy tone to it. Perfect for everyday wear.

It also comes with a booklet, which has little pictures of suggested ways to use the products, then it unfolds to reveal a decent sized mirror, which is another reason why this is perfect for travelling.
I love the idea of having tips and tricks inside as it helps you if your new to applying makeup or new to the products.

I think it's a great way to try out some of their products for a cheaper price, without spending lots of the full sized products, just in case you don't like them.
Once you have finished the products, they can be removed and the box itself turns into a cute little storage box.

Venus With Love Locket*

I was recently contacted by a lovely lady called Jenna, who works for a company called Venus With Love. Venus with Love is a bespoke and personalised locket company where customers design their own lockets for styles/ beliefs/ sentiments that are rich to them and completely in their own vision.
Their lockets have been seen in Look, Glamour, New!, No1 and Elle magazine. And have also been seen on celebrities such as Sam Faiers and Casey Batchelor.
She asked if I wanted to take a look at the website and design my own locket. I took a look at Venus With Love and I have to say I fell in love with the gorgeous locket designs and charms.
I went onto the inspire page to get a bit of inspiration on what I would like in my locket, as they have pictures of what their previous customers/celebrities picked.
It took me a good hour to decide what I wanted as they have such an array of different charms and dangles. From hearts to stars, to life events to zodiac signs, there is something there for everyone.
I eventually decided on the Crystal Rose Gold V.Locket in Large as I love a bit of 'bling' and it will match my watch nicely. I decided to have a back plate (back plate is optional) that says 'love' as I wanted the locket to relate to my boyfriend and I. For the charms, I chose my boyfriends initial 'L' and mine 'E', a gold open heart, a pink crystal heart and a heart swirl.
I'm really happy with how my locket turned out. I think they look lovely together and they fit inside the locket perfectly.

Another thing which impressed me is the fact that you can open the locket and add/remove any charms, so you can customised it to any outfit or occasion you desire. Also, as the locket is on a lobster clasp, you could just change the locket itself and add it on a shorter/longer chain. Perfect!
I think these are such a lovely idea and would make the perfect gift for any occasion, You could theme them for a birthday, christening or wedding and as they are personalised, I think it makes them that extra bit special.
The prices vary depending on what size locket you choose along with how many charms, dangles or extras you have.

The ever so lovely people over at VWL have given me a discount code to offer to my lovely readers. Enter EMILYGRACE20 at the checkout to receive 20% off you order.

If you do decide to design your own use the hashtag #VWLEmGrace as I would love to see what your locket looks like!

Valentines Day Nail Art Inspiration

Now I will be honest, when it comes to nails, I'm not that creative. I just tend to paint them one colour, maybe add a bit of glitter and that's about as creative as it gets.
My friend has just started doing gel nails and she very kindly done mine at the weekend and I love them. She did them a deep burgundy shade with a glitter nail accent. We were looking for inspiration as to what she could do next, that's when I had the idea of doing some Valentines Day nails. Now seeing as I don't have a gel kit, I thought I would test a few designs out on the nail wheels
As you can see they are all quite simple designs and would be easy to re-create. I think my favourites have to be the light pink with little hearts, the one with the studs and the dark and light pink with the spots (next to the studs). I'm haven't got the steadiest of hands so please excuse the slight imperfections. I would love to know if you recreate any of these.

Denman D3 Pink Kiss Hairbrush*

Have kissable hair just in time for Valentines Day with the Denman D3 Pink Kiss brush.
This is the Denman Classic D3 Styling Brush but as Valentines Day is just around the corner, Denman have released a glossy pink sparkle version complete with silver 'lipstick kiss' prints. It has an anti-static rubber pad to provide maximum grip and control during blow-drying for smoothing, shaping and polishing the hair.

I'm a sucker for anything pink and girlie and this brush is definitely that. From its pink brushes to the cute silver lip prints, I knew this brush was meant for me! I give the look and design of this brush a big thumbs up but I couldn't wait to put it to the test and try it out on both wet and dry hair.
When I have wet hair, I try not to brush it unless it's with a brush 'designed for wet hair'. However, this went through my hair with ease and it didn't pull or tug at any tangles I had.
When it came to using it on dry hair it brushed through like a dream. Again, it removed any tangles with ease and my hair was left feeling and looking, silky and smooth.
This was my first time trying a Denman brush and I wasn't left disappointed. Not only does it do wonders for my hair, it also looks incredibly cute sitting on my dressing table.

Denman D3 Pink Kiss Brush - £7.31* - Valentines Day Special Offer! Between 9th - 13th February. Get this brush for ONLY £5.00!

Ralph Lauren Big Pony 2 Perfume

I've wanted to try this perfume for a while now, so when I saw that it was in the January sales in boots I decided to pick it up. It came in a gift set - 50ml perfume and a tote bag which will come in handy when I'm traveling or for weekends away.
Ralph Lauren 2 is one of four from the Big Pony collection. Although I haven't tried the other three fragrances, I have read reviews and it seems like this is the sweetest scent in the collection.

I love the bright pink bottle with an embossed green Ralph Lauren logo on one side and a light blue number 2 on the other.
It's described as a 'Floriental Fruity with the key ingredients of Cranberry & Tonka Mousse, this fragrance is for an alluring flirt with a romantic spirit'.I would agree, it is a very sweet scent which I think would smell amazing in the Summertime. I love sweet girlie scents so this suits me perfectly but if your not into sweet scents, then I would suggest passing on this one.
It also has a base note of vanilla and sandalwood which I can definitely detect. I think this gives it a bit of a warm sugary-ness which again, I love in perfumes.

Have you tried this perfume or another one from the collection?

Review | Osmo Wonder 10 Leave-In Treatment*

I would say my hair is pretty long but I would like it that bit longer (don't we all). So I love trying out new hair products in the quest for long luscious locks. When the company Osmo got in contact with me asking if I would like to try some of their hair care range, I couldn't turn them down.
Osmo are a company I haven't heard much about. My mum actually got their shampoo and conditioner a couple of Christmases a go, which she absolutely loved.
Osmo are a a leading UK collection of professional hair care and styling products, which are sold in salons and at hair and beauty supply stores. I received three products from their Prep range 'Thermal Defense', 'Deep Moisturising Hair Repair' and 'Wonder 10', which is what I will be reviewing today.

What They Say - "It's Wonderful...Wonder 10™ is a unique all-in-one spray in Keratin based treatment with 10 wondrous effects. Designed to leave the hair feeling softer, silkier and more manageable with a radiant shine.

10 Effects:
- Helps repair dry and damaged hair
- Nourishes and protects for radiant shine
- Thermal protection from styling tools
- Delivers soft, silky, more manageable results
- Contains colour protection complex
- Creates body and movement
- Incredible detangler
- Aids in the prevention of static
- Conditions both natural and synthetic hair
- Smooths split ends and controls frizz"

I love the black packaging with the purple. It looks very sleek and professional and think it would look lovely sitting with my other hair products. The scent of this spray reminds me of how my hair smells when I leave my hairdressers. Hard to describe but definitely a pleasant smell.
The directions to use this is to evenly spray it in damp/towel dried hair and leave it to dry/style as normal. I have used this every time I've washed my hair, which is 2-3 times a week and have just left it to air dry as I'm trying to reduce the amount of heat I use on my hair.
My hair is long as well as thick, so I do find that it does tangle easily but since using this product I have found it tangles less and leaves it much more manageable.
I have also noticed that my hair looks a lot healthier. It has so much more shine to it and even though I am due a haircut, the ends of my hair don't look dry and there's a slight reduction to the visibility of my split ends.
One thing I will say is that you only need to spray this lightly into your hair. I wouldn't go crazy with it as if you over spray it, your hair will be left feeling heavy/greasy. I try and avoid my roots and concentrate mainly on the ends of my hair.

Overall, I am very happy with the Osmo Wonder 10 Leave-In Treatment* and would definitely purchase when I have finished this bottle.
