Saturday 17th October saw the #SuffolkBloggerMeet which was organised by the ever so lovely Daisy. I was so happy when I found out she was organising a meet up right here in Suffolk because nothing ever happens around here in regards to blogging, especially when it comes to meet ups and events, they are always in London or places much further to travel.
The morning came and I generally felt rubbish, I had woken up with the starts of a migraine and I was gutted as I had waited ages for this meet up to arrive. I didn't let that stop me though. I dosed myself up on tablets, grabbed my bottle of water for the journey and headed to Bury St. Edmunds, where the event was being held.
The lovely Hannah from Kiziwoo previously had messaged me asking if I would like to meet before hand. I definitely said yes as this was my first event and I was feeling a tad nervous going on my own.
The event was held at LP in Bury St. Edmunds which had a lovely restaurant down stairs but we made our way up stairs to where we were greeted by a lovely room filled with stalls, a bar and lovely things for us to sample.
Daisy also greeted us, and by the way can I say how lovely it was to finally meet her in person, and she explained to us what was to happen throughout the day.

Yoohoo Mail is a UK Subscription based company which is all about stationery and cute cards/paper products. It was lovely to talk to Gemma (who is actually Daisy's mum) about the business and what made her start this box! It's nice to see a different type of subscription box instead of the normal beauty and food boxes! I'm tempted to get my hands on the November box as I love this sort of thing!
Odylique is a local skincare company which have products designed for people with sensitive skin. They had a range of skincare products and makeup. I enjoyed swatching the organic lipsticks and have my eye on number 12 - Raspberry Coulis. The Coconut Candy scrub sounds amazing too! You can also purchase little samples of certain products and I definitely think I'll do this with the Coconut Candy scrub and maybe the Toning Fruit Butter too.
Charity Candles are a candle company that sell amazing scented candles and also help out certain charities. When purchasing one of the candles, a percentage of the sale will be donated to either The Royal British Legion, The Dogs Trust, EACH or Teenage Cancer Trust. You can choose which charity when you place your order.
The candles are also amazing too. They come in a range of scents and you can even buy a cute little sample candle for only £2.50 which means you can see if you like the scent before buying the full sized jar.
Ivy-Joan was such a fun stall to look at. It had handmade cards, vintage items as well as some clothing items! I really liked the personalised baubles and cards in the frames! They would make lovely presents for people! I'm tempted to buy a letter 'E' and 'L' for myself and my fiance, along with the 'Pull Yourself Together' wash bag.
Dotted around the room there was freebies and things for us to sample. There was an amazing cake and little biscuits, hand made by a lovely blogger. The biscuits were so good! Some lovely coconut water from a brand called Life Tonics. I tried the Coconut and Mint and the Elderberry and Juniper. Both were lovely and refreshing to drink. There were also some amazing smelling candles, Hotel Chocolat chocolates and some cute marshmallow ghosts!
At the end, there was a raffle. I had previously purchased four raffle strips and was very lucky to have won two items! The first was an eyelash serum duo by the brand Rapid Shield.
Secondly I won a cut and blow dry at a salon in Bury, which I can't wait to have done because my hair seriously needs some tlc! We also got given an amazing goody bag, full of brands such as Benefit, Sunkissed, Makeup Revolution and Moyou. A big shout out to all the lovely bloggers I got to meet too - Hannah, Lucy, Gemma, Sabine, Hannah and Christie.

Thanks again to the wonderful Daisy for organising such an amazing event! When's the next one....? ;)
