What Emily Wore | Bowling Featuring Brat and Suzie*

Top - Brat and Suzie* | Leggings - New Look | Watch - Micheal Kors | Bracelet - Thomas Sabo

Brat and Suzie sell a range of cute and quirky tops. They have the cutest selection of animal designs ranging from bunnies to pandas to even guinea pigs. So when Brat and Suzie got in contact with me asking if I would like to review one of their tops from their winter collection, I knew it was going to be hard to choose.
After looking at the different tops they had to offer, I decided on the stag top. I have a slight obsession with deer/stags at the moment, so thought this one would be perfect.
The top itself feels very soft and comfortable to wear. I went for a size medium as I wanted it to be slightly baggy as a casual top. I think it's perfect to wear alone with leggings or tucked into your favourite high waisted skirt.
I'm really impressed with the service and clothing Brat and Suzie have to offer and I'm currently lusting after this cute dachshund jumper!

You can purchase the Stag T-Shirt* for £22.

Have you ordered from Brat and Suzie before?

Review | Lush Northern Lights Bath Bomb

What They Say | "Escape into relaxation with this bath bomb that gives an impressive display no matter where you are in the world. As the ends fizz away, the middle slowly dissolves to reveal blue and neon green, turning your water into a calming jasmine and ylang ylang-scented swirling night sky scattered with stars."
What I Say | Wow, just look at those amazing pictures of the bath bomb in action. Doesn't it look so pretty.
The Northern Lights Bath Bomb is part of Lush's Bonfire night range and as soon as I saw a little clip of this beauty in action, I knew I had to have it.
The bath bomb is a lovely purple and it's initial colour when it hit the water was purple but then, out of no where there was yellow, blue and pink. This was such a fun bath bomb to watch as it fizzed and swirled around my bath tub.
I'm rubbish at describing scents (and I'll probably say this in every Lush review) but it smells so nice. Such a sweet but fresh scent that lingered on my skin and in the bathroom for a good time after.
I would definitely recommend picking up one of these before they sell out and I also think this would be such an exciting bath time for a child.
Where To Buy | Lush
Price | £3.50
Rating | 8/10

Have you tried Northern Lights?

Em's Tips | My Top 10 Beauty Tips & Tricks

Hey Beauts! I've wanted to start a blog series on EmilyGrace for a while now and have decided that I'm going to post my own tips and tricks on different topics. I'm going to title them - Em's Tips. I'll be posting tips from how to grow your hair to getting over bloggers block.
Please remember, I'm not an expert but these are just the little things I've picked up along the way, whether in blogging or just general day to day life.
To start of my Em's Tips series, today I'm going to share with you my beauty tips and tricks.

Leave your spots alone
I know it's very tempting to pick those spots but honestly, the best thing to do is to leave it alone. Apply some toothpaste before you go to bed and in the morning it will have reduced in size and would have dried out. If you have acne scarring, apply Sudacream as this helps to fade those red marks.

No shaving foam/cream?
Want to shave your legs but have run out of shaving foam! Just grab your conditioner and use it on your legs instead. The smoothness of the conditioner will help the razor glide over your legs, leaving them silky smooth and hair free.

Run out of dry shampoo?
Grab some baby/talcum powder and apply a little at a time to your hair, just like you would your dry shampoo. Rub into the roots and you're hair is good to go.

Wavy hair without heat
Wash your hair like you normally would and when it's slightly damp, plait it. Head to bed and in the morning you will wake up with beautiful soft waves. The more plaits you do, the wavier it will be.

Waiting for your nail varnish to dry?
Run your nails under cold water for at least a minute and then gentle pat dry with a towel. You'll be left with nice dry shiny nails.

Eyebrows
Remember eyebrows are sisters, not twins!

Take off your makeup!
Always remove your makeup before you go to bed. I know it's easier said than done but honestly, your skin will thank you for it. No matter how tired (or drunk ha!) I am, I always take my makeup off. Even if you don't do your full nightime routine, using a makeup wipe is better than nothing.

Don't pump your mascara
You should never pump your mascara (moving it up and down in the tube quickly) because it will only allow air in the tube causing it to dry out. Instead, twist the mascara wand in the tube to get the product.

Run out of nail varnish remover?
You can remove cracked or chipped nail polish by applying a clear top coat to the nail and removing it promptly with a cotton ball.

Smile!
It's the most beautiful asset you have. Wear it every day! :)

I hope you'll like these types of posts. If you have any topics you'd like tips on leave them in comment section below and I'll try and help :)

What are your beauty tips?

Halloween | Glamorous Witch Makeup

A bit of a different post from me today. This is my first ever makeup look I have done in my two years blogging, and what better way to start than by doing a Halloween makeup look. (Please remember that I'm not a makeup artist and I don't claim to be, I just like to play around with makeup and see what looks I can create.)
I decided on a Glamorous Witch look as I could experiment with the eye shadow to create a smokey look.
I knew I wanted to add some purple/plummy colours somewhere as I have a slight obsession with these shades at the moment. I decided on having dark plum lips and used the amazing lip lacquer from MUA in the shade Kooky. Wow it is such a beautiful colour. I also dabbed a little bit of black eye shadow on top to add a bit of shading.
Then I thought, why stop at purple lips? Why not have purple eyebrows too! Well it is Halloween after all!

I bought these amazing cat eyelashes from Poundland. How cute are they? The little cat is holding a fish! Definitely didn't expect to find these in there! They were quite fiddly to apply and I had to cut one of the poor cats off to fit me eye. The one on my left eye just didn't want to stick but I thought these were a nice added extra and for a pound, I can't really complain.
Looking back at the photos, I can see where I could of made some changes/improvements with the eyeshadow, like blending the outer edges. But hey practice makes perfect and this was my first time! ;)

Aviva Dress | Wedding & Prom Dresses*

Aviva Dress sell an amazing selection of prom dresses, whether you are looking for long prom dresses, short prom dresses or even a sexy prom dress.
They even sell the most beautiful wedding dresses along with party dresses, evening dresses and ball gowns.
I honestly could spend hours looking at this site, dreaming of all these gorgeous dresses that will instantly make you look and feel like a princess. I mean come on, who doesn't want to feel like a princess! I know I sure would.
When looking at their dresses, I knew I had to write about them and share a little insight to what my prom and prom dress was like.

Prom Dresses

I had my high school prom back in 2006. We had a pink limousine to take me and my high school friends to our destination and then to take us home at the end of the night. Inside the limo, it was filled with pink fluffy cushions, fairy lights, disco balls and lots of sparkle. With the likes of Christina Millian - Say I, Chris Brown - Gimmie That and Cassie - Me and You blaring out on the sound system, I was in my element.
We had a lovely sit down three course meal, took plenty of photos and danced the night away.

But when it comes to my dress, I have to admit I would of loved to have a different one. My dress was actually one I had previously worn to my godmothers wedding. It was a baby pink colour, it fitted in all the right places and had thin spaghetti straps. At the time it seemed perfect as I didn't have to worry about buying a new one, I didn't have the worry of another girl turning up in the same dress, it was hassle free. (I wish I could find the pictures to show you!)
So looking back now, if I did have the chance to choose a new dress above are some of the dresses I would of loved to have worn.
Well I guess the next time I get to wear a pretty dress like this will be on my wedding day?!

Wedding Dresses

Above are some of the beautiful wedding dresses I fell in love with when browsing the website. All girls dream about their wedding day and that all important dress they will choose. I honestly didn't know their were so many types and styles of dresses to choose from!
When it comes to choosing my wedding dress, I don't know how I will decide. But people say you know straight away which dress you will choose when you see it/try it on.

Looking back, would you change your prom dress? What style wedding dress would you like on your big day?

L-R - Northern Lights Bath Bomb | Wizard Bubble Bar | Snow Fairy Shower Gel | Snow Angel Bath Melt

I somehow ended up in Lush, again! If you have seen part one to this haul (click here) you would know I went a little crazy with their Christmas range. With energising tangerine oil and purifying juniperberry and fennel essential oils, the Wizard banishes stress and helps you recover. Rich in hydrating cocoa butter and blend of rose, benzoin and cassie absolute, this has a comforting light floral and delicate marzipan scent.

I will be writing individual reviews on each of these products so keep your eyes peeled for them in the near future.

Things I'm Currently Loving - #6

1. Candles | I love burning candles all year round but there's something about burning them in the autumn/winter that makes your home feel warm and cosy. I love Yankee Candles as I feel their scent, scents the room for as long as your burning it, and that little bit after it's been blown out. I'm currently burning Black Cherry but would love your recommendations on which scents or candles you like this time of year.

2. Fluffy Socks | There's nothing more I love then wearing fluffy socks. I think my feet must have bad circulation as they always seem to be cold. So as soon as I get home, I put on a pair of thick fluffy socks and I feel nice and cosy. I even carry a pair around with me in my handbag, in case I go to a friends! Please tell me I'm not the only one that does this?

3. Hot Chocolate | I am loving hot chocolates at the moment. With whipped cream and marshmallows, it probably isn't best for this healthy eating kick I'm on but it's ohh so nice to have as a treat. Hot chocolate is one of my favourite hot drinks this time of year but I have to admit I cannot wait for the Starbucks Gingerbread lattes! Anyone know when they are coming to Starbucks?

4. Plum Lipsticks  | I have a thing for dark plummy/purple lipsticks at the moment. I own MACs Plumful and Barry M Cor Balmy in Current Bun and these both are such gorgeous shades that I'm currently alternating between. There's something about berry lips that scream autumn to me. I would love it if you can recommend me your fave plum lipsticks in the comments below.

What are you currently loving?

Review | Eyeko Mascara Off Eye Makeup Remover Wipes

I received the Eyeko Mascara Off Eye Makeup Remover Wipes from Eyeko in the latest LIB Glamour Beauty Power List Box 2014. Eyeko is a brand I haven't heard much about, so I was interested to try these out.
I very rarely, well actually never, use face wipes to remove my makeup. I normally use a hot cloth cleanser to remove all of my makeup but after trying these I was pleasantly surprised at how easy these were to use and how quickly they removed my eye makeup.
What They Say - "Our 100% pure cotton wipes remove all traces of even the smokiest eye make-up gently, quickly and efficiently. Infused with a botanical blend featuring key ingredients Olive Oil and Aloe Extract to condition and soothe the delicate eye area.
Perfect for travellers or just to pop in your bag to cleanse on the go leaving eyes and skin feeling soft and refreshed."
You receive 10 small wipes in a pack and the pack is resealable which gets a big thumbs up from me. I do love a good resealable pack, as there's nothing worse then when the product dries up.
The wipes are quite small but are the perfect size to use on the eye area. They feel very moist (eugh hate that word) and soft on the skin. The wipes are infused with Olive Oil and Aloe Extract, which makes them feel amazing and gives them that softness.
I like to use two wipes at a time, one for each eye as I'm funny about using the same wipe eye to eye. But if that doesn't bother you and depending on how much eye makeup you're wearing, you could use one wipe for both eyes.
I was wearing mascara and eyeliner when using these wipes and as you can see, they are nice and dirty. They removed every last trace of eye makeup and left my eye area feeling soft, smooth to the touch and moisturised too.
These are amazing little wipes and I'm very happy they were in the beauty box otherwise I would never of heard about them.
The only down side is that you get 10 in a pack when personally, I think it would be better if they came in a pack of 20 or more as I use two at once.
But that aside, if you're a wipe fan or wear heavy eye makeup, I definitely suggest you check these out.

You can purchase the Eyeko Mascara Off Eye Makeup Remover Wipes here for £6.

W7 Makeup | Showing Out Mascara, Black Liquid Eyeliner & Lovely Lilac Eyeshadow*

What They Say - "W7 Make Up, the inspiration of two entrepreneurial young men from West London was created in 2002. Their aim – that every woman should have access to an extensive range of high quality cosmetics at an affordable price – is now well on the way to becoming a reality. The company has grown year on year and now W7 boasts a collection of over 500 products including: nail polish, lipsticks and glosses, eyeshadows and more mascaras than you could dream off".

The lovely people at W7 asked on twitter if there were any bloggers that would like to take part in their All About The Eyes campaign. As I've not tried their makeup before, I decided to say yes and was excited to trial their products out. I received the Showing Out! Mascara*, Black Liquid Eyeliner* and Lovely Lilac Eyeshadow*.
The Showing Out! Mascara* in black is such a lovely mascara and I've been using every day since I received it. The wand is plastic, which is my favourite type and the bristles actually remind me of the Benefit They're Real mascara. It has the little 'ball' bit on the top to help separate and lengthen those
lashes. I have to admit, the brush itself is huge and I did get a bit on my eyelid as you can see in the picture, but that's nothing a cotton bud can't fix.
The picture shows just one coat and I really like the result. I did try two coats but it made the lashes
clump together.
If you're looking for an everyday lengthening mascara, I would definitely suggest you check this one out!
Showing Out Mascara - £4.95*

I salute those that apply liquid eyeliner everyday. This was my first attempt and have to admit it doesn't look that great but with practice I might just get the hand of it.
But that aside the Liquid Eyeliner* itself was very easy to apply as in the brush was easy and comfortable to hold and I was able to get close to my lash line.
It's a nice solid black shade, if that makes sense and I didn't need to keep dipping my brush to get the product.

Black Liquid Eyeliner - £4.95*

Lovely Lilac* is such a lovely pearlescent purple eyeshadow. It's such a pretty shade on its own but I think it would look equally amazing with a smokey eye for an evening look.
I wouldn't say it's pigmented as I did need a few swirls of my eyeshadow brush to get colour, but it's buildable so you can achieve your desired look.
I'm not normally a purple eyeshadow fan but I can see myself using this on my next night out. I also think this would look really pretty as a highlight in the inner corner of your eye.

The products mentioned are available to buy at TKMaxx, Asda, Fragrance Direct and other stores. Check their website to find out your local stockists.

Beauty Wishlist

Today I want to share with you some of the beauty items I have been lusting over lately.

1&2. I'm pretty sure you have all heard that the ever so lovely Zoella has released her very own beauty range. I love the packaging and colours she has chosen and really want to try the Fizz Bar and Candle. So far i have heard amazing reviews!

3. I had this last year and it was definitely one of my favourites from their Christmas range. In fact, I've just been on the Lush website and I kind of want one of everything from their Christmas collection!

4. This has been on my wishlist for a while now, purely because nowhere close to me stocks it and being a foundation I need to get matched up rather than just buying the colour that looks like mine, online.

5. I'm loving purple/plumy lips at the moment and would love to try out MAC's Rebel. I'm trying to be a bit more daring with my choice of lip colours and think this one will fit right in.

6. I have a little sample of this and I have to say I really like it. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and plump and I really want to try the full sized version,

7. I'm a huge lover of Juicy Couture perfumes and this is their latest one in their collection. I haven't actually smelt this one yet but I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it as it's got notes of vanilla, caramel and berries. My fave!

8. I'm after a nice dark blue nail varnish for the autumnal months and I love this shade from Models Own. It's such a gorgeous deep blue.

What's currently on your beauty wishlist?

TAG | Autumn Loving

The lovely Amy over at Beauty Glamorous tagged me to do the Autumn Tag. I'm so happy she did as I love autumn.
Find out why below :)
1. Coffee - What's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks or any other coffee shop?

It has to be the Ginberbread Lattes at Starbucks. Oh my goodness, they are amazing.

2. Accessories - What do you opt for scarf, boots or gloves?

I have to say I choose all three. I love nothing more than putting on my boots with thick socks, gloves and scarves.

3. Music - What's your favourite music to listen to during autumn?

I don't really have any specific music I listen to. I just listen to whatever is current but this time of year I get excited for Christmas songs (although it may be slightly a teeny bit early!).

4. Perfume - What's your favourite scent for this time of the year?

I don't really change my perfume with the seasons but I do have to admit, I do like heavier scents if that makes sense? Fragrances that'll last longer.

5. Candles - What scents will you be burning this season?

I'm currently burning Black Cherry from Yankee Candle. This smells amazing. I also love Salted Caramel and Christmas Cookie. I've just seen that YC sell a Gingerbread candle, this sounds like a scent I'd enjoy. I'd love your recommendations for your favourite candles whether they are from Yankee Candle or a different brand!

6. What do you love the most about autumn?

This could be long list. I love hot chocolate with marshmallows, film nights, cold evening walks where I'm able to wrap up, fireworks, roaring log fires, the colours of the leaves, hot water bottles, onesies, bubble baths and candles.

7. Favourite make up look?

I wouldn't say my makeup changes drastically in the autumn but I do tend to go for a darker lip colour. I'm loving plum/purples at the moment. So if you have any recommendations I'd love to know. I'm currently loving MACs Plumful!

8. What are you looking forward to the most in autumn?

Along with everything in question 6 I'll add, be being able to wear big woolly jumpers, carving pumpkins, fluffy socks, bonfire night, crisp air and Halloween.

I tag you all to do this tag! Please leave the link to your post below as I'd love to know why you love about autumn.

August/September Favourites

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Leave In Treatment | I love the Lee Staffords 'for hair that doesn't grow past a certain length' and I was intrigued to see what other products he has in his 'hair growth' range. I came across this leave in treatment. It's a light spray which you spritz on damp hair from the roots to the tips and comb through. As it's a light spray it doesn't way the hair down and I have noticed a difference in the condition of my hair, which means it's growing in a better condition.

Garnier Smoothing Perfecting Primer | I received this in the latest Pink Parcel box and it's such a lovely primer. It's quite a sticky consistency but once on the skin it blends really well and helps to smooth out any imperfections. It makes all the difference when applying your foundation.

Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara | I love this mascara. With just one coat your eyelashes look amaizng, but with two coats they look even better. It separates my eyelashes and adds volume giving that effect of falsies but with your own lashes.

Yankee Candle Black Cherry | I actually received this for my birthday back in July and I have to admit I have been burning it since. I love this time of year when you can snuggle down in your pyjamas, get all warm and cosy and light your favourite candles. This is definitely one of my faves for Autumn.

Origins GinZing Moisturiser | This is just a little sample but I'm already in love with it. I've heard many raving reviews and they are definitely true. It leaves my skin feeling soft and plump, ready to apply my foundation. I think I might purchase the full size.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow In Amber Rose | I've been loving this eyeshadow recently. It's such a lovely neutral shade with a slight shimmer to it. It's perfect to wear day or night.

What have you been loving lately?

What Emily Wore | Hats Off

Top - Primark | Skirt - Primark | Hat - New Look | Watch - Michael Kors | Bracelet - Thomas Sabo

I really need to get myself a full left mirror rather than taking these photos in my dressing table mirror. Anyways, my mum and myself decided to take a little shopping trip a couple of days ago as I needed to add some Autumnal pieces to my wardrobe.
First off we started at Primark and I fell in love with this gorgeous dark grey skit. It was a bargain at £8 and is the perfect length and is great to pair with thick knit tights. Then I spotted this white and black square top which actually has a slight peplum/frills to the bottom but it looks better tucked in to the skirt.

Also on that recent shopping trip, I bought this gorgeous burgundy fedora (is that the right name?). I had planned to get a hat like this for Autumn so when I saw this lil beauty in New Look in the sale section, I couldn't contain my excitement. When it came to looking at the tag I was even more excited. It was originally priced up at £14.99 but was in the sale for only £3! I had to have it!
I thought all three of these pieces look really nice together and this skirt will definitely be a staple in my Autumn wardrobe.

Review | Sunkissed Self-Tan Mousse In Medium*

When Sunkissed tweeted that they were looking for beauty bloggers to review their self-tan, I thought I would email them to ask if I could give it a try. Now being a fake tan virgin, if you will (I've only ever tried wash off tans). I wasn't sure how I was going to get on but with their easy step by step instructions and tips on their website. I thought I couldn't go wrong!
They very kindly sent me their Sunkissed Self-Tan Mousse In Medium* as requested as I was too scared to go for their dark range being it my first time.
What They Say - "The SUNKISSED Self-tan Mousse 200ml, delivers an instant natural bronze tan that smells divine and lasts for up to 5 days. The easy to apply, lightweight foam formulation absorbs and dries quickly on the skin, whilst moisturising ingredients Aloe Vera and Glycerin leave it feeling smooth and hydrated. The Medium Bronze mousse is perfect for fair to medium skin giving you a deep golden glow.
Kind to skin this dermatologically approved formula contains no parabens or alcohol."
The night before I applied the tan I made sure I shaved, exfoliated with a body scrub and then used a moisurising shower gel.
After my bath, I applied The Body Shop's Almond Body Butter. This made my skin feel very soft and smooth.
The next morning, I had another shower and used the same moistursing shower gel but this time I applied it using exfoliating gloves to get rid of any last bits of dead skin...mmm nice.
I again used The Body Shop's Almond Body Butter but this time I only applied it to my knees, elbows, hands and feet as my skin was already moistuised and smooth from the showers before.
I carefully read the instructions on the bottle and they said to apply a small amount of tan onto the tanning mitt at a time.
I found it best to start at my ankles and work my way up and use circular motions to make sure it's all blended, paying close attention the knees, elbows, wrists and ankles.
Applying the tan to my back was quite tricky at first but I found it easier to turn the glove around and put it on my opposite hand. Of course if there's someone to apply it for you, that's even better.
I then used the product left on the mitt to apply it to my feet and hands, so they didn't turn out really orange. I found this technique worked really well.
After reading many fake tan reviews , I didn't apply it to my face. I just made sure I used a darker foundation and bronzer when I applied my makeup. Again, this worked well and it blended nicely.
Please excuse my awful legs but I wanted to show you a close up of the difference the tan made. I'm the one on the left in the next picture and as you can see, the tan looks very natural and gives you a nice colour rather than looking like a wotsit!
Overall I am really impressed with this self-tan and will continue to use it. The only thing that put me off is the smell. Don't get me wrong it smelt lovely when applying it, almost like coconuts but when the tan had developed it smelt like what I could only describe as I've heard other people say it "that typical fake tan biscuit smell".
I applied the tan at around 3pm and it said to not shower for at least 6 hours. So when I rolled in at 1pm after my night out I decided to shower .(Crazy I know, when all I wanted to do was get into bed...what I do for blogging purposes hey!) I wanted to see what the colour would look like in the morning and to see if the smell had disappeared. I was pleasantly surprised. The biscuit smell had gone and I was still left with a lovely tan.

Sunkissed Self-Tan Mousse In Medium* retails for £4.99 and can be purchased here along with the other products Sunkissed has to offer. They are also available to purchase from Superdrug,
