I am loving the pastel trend for Spring (which I think will still be huge for Summer!) whether it's pastel jeans, tops or accessories! I love it all. I have already bought 2 new pastel blazers, in pink and turquoise from Primark which I cannot wait to wear! I will definitely be basing my Spring wardrobe on these pictures!
Have you posted a Spring or Pastel OOTD recently? I would love to see it. Feel free to leave links below!

I finally bought my first YSL lipstick in shade No. 4 Succulent Pomegranate. It is such a gorgeous shade and I have been wearing it near enough every day! Check out my blog post on it, here.
I love wearing my hair in a sock bun. It's such a quick and easy hair do to create when I'm in a rush! All you need is a sock, hair pins and hair spray! If you would like a tutorial, I would be more then happy to do one :).
Eek, I picked up JT's new album. It's amazing and I recommend you pick it up, if you haven't already. It's such a different side to Justin's old stuff but I love it! Especially the track Strawberry Bubblegum!
I saw a picture on someone else's Instagram, with there nails like this, so thought I would create it myself. I used Model's Own and Barry M nail varnishes!
Of course, what would an Instagram account be without a 'selfie' photo! It was a skulls and crosses kinda day.
If you follow me on Instagram, you would of seen this cute lil Pug before. His name is Ralph! He's my boyfriend's mums and just pure gorgeous. Just look at those eyes!
I am now offering advertising space on the blog. Prices start from just £1 and if you buy a package for May, you can get June's half price! :).
Some of you may know I am currently studying. I am nearly finished and hopefully by July I will be Level 4 Qualified in Children's Care, Learning and Development!
On Instagram, there is something called #throwbackthursday where you upload an old photo. I had this one on my phone of my brother and I, so thought I would put it on. You can't see in the picture but my hair is down to my bum! I would love my hair to be that length again, one day soon.
I bought the Model's Own Fruit Pastel collection and thought I would try them out on each nail! I am in love with the pastel shades and can't wait to wear them in the Summer. Check out my post here.
This gorgeous duvet set is from The Range. I currently have a single bed but getting a double one soon, so thought I would buy this in preparation. A couple of months ago I had my bedroom decorated. I picked Cream for the walls and I'm going to have a floral/pink/lime greenish theme if that makes sense?
I will definitely be doing some interior posts when I buy new items for my bedroom. Especially a makeup storage and collection post, as I love reading these!
L-R - Banana Split | Blueberry Muffin | Strawberry Tart | Grape Juice | Apple Pie
"Five pretty pastel shades that cleverly release an infused fruity scent, keeping fingers fresh and fashionable! Once dry they emit a subtle, but pretty perfume that matches their name. Complete with retro 'scratch and sniff' stickers!"
If you read my blog regularly you know I am a huge fan of Models Own nail varnishes and own quite a few of their collections now. So when I heard they were releasing a new 'scented' range, I was very intrigued to see what they would be like. Models Own nail varnishes cost £5 each but this collection costs £20, so that's saving you a fiver! Who doesn't love a saving?
These are all such pretty colours and have such sweet names! I am a big lover of pastel shades, so this collection was right up my street. They even come with little 'scratch 'n' sniff' stickers on the top of the bottles, so you get to try before you buy I guess! ;) (Totally reminds me of my 90's childhood with those scratch and stickers you could buy, oh and gel pens!)
At first glance I thought I was going to end up with a couple of dupes of shades I already own. Grape Juice reminded me of Lilac Dream and Blueberry Muffin looked like Beth's Blue but after swatching them together this collection is a much lighter, pastel version!
As for the 'scent', you still got your typical nail varnish smell when applying them but as they dried you do get a slight hint of what they were supposed to be. Strawberry Tart is the strongest of scents and smells so yummy. The nail varnishes consistency itself was a bit watery. You needed to apply quite a few coats to get a decent finish. I found they streaked a lot more then the normal Models Own Polishes.
A fun little gimmick which doesn't last long but I will love and use the colours nonetheless!
You can view the Models Own website here or go straight to the collection here.
Have you picked up this collection? What's you favourite shade?
St Ives Apricot Scrub | I use to use this all the time when I was in high school but have only just rediscovered it. I love it for giving my skin an instant glow. It gets rid of any dead skin and it leaves me with a lovely and smooth face. This is just a travel size product but will definitely be purchasing a full size bottle when I am next in town. They also do different scrubs for different skin types. The one I have is the 'invigorating' one but think I might pick up the 'blemish fighting' one next.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer | After hearing many rave reviews about this product, I decided to take the plunge and buy it. I use this concealer under my eyes for instant brightness. It's true to it's name as it does really does wake your skin up. It is perfect for hiding those under eye circles and gives you an instant pop. YSL Volupte Sheer Candy Glossy Balm N0 4 | If you have read my post here on this lovely product, you would know it's my first YSL item and definitely not my last. It is a perfect lip product for everyday wear and it leaves your lips feeling soft and hydrated. Oh and it smells just like watermelons ;).
Batiste Dry Shampoo | I think Batiste dry shampoo will always be in my monthly faves but I have always stuck to the same scent, Tropical. This month I branched out and tried a different scent in their range. Ohh daring I know ;). I picked up Floral & Flirty which smells gorgeous but I still think Tropical is my fave!
Blistex Intensive Moisturiser | This is such a nice lip balm. I apply just before I go to bed due to the whiteness of the product and when I wake up I have lovely soft lips. It also smells very minty which I love in lip balms.
I have seen this tag appearing on a few blogs lately, so thought I would give it a go! It's all about our bad beauty habits, lets face it, we all have them so I thought I would share with you mine...
1. Picking my nail varnish off - As soon as I see that my nail varnish has chipped, I start to pick away at it. I find glitter nail varnish is so easy to pick off due to the amount of layers you need of it and there is that little bit of satisfaction when it peels off whole! This leads me onto number two... 2. Biting my nails - When I don't have any nail varnish on my nails, I bite them. I have bit my nails ever since I was little. I go through stages where I can let my nails grow and they look lovely, but again as soon as I split a nail or catch it on something I bite them. (Reminder for self - I must carry nail clippers around with me!!) 3. Not regularly washing my makeup brushes - I am really lazy when it comes to washing my make up brushes! I tend to spot clean them every other week which is really bad! Just think of all that bacteria that builds up in them! I need to spot clean them at least every week and deep clean them every 2 weeks! 4. Biting/licking my lips - When my lips are dry, instead of using a lip balm, I lick them. This is bad for your lips because when your constantly licking your lips, it makes them drier than if they are left alone. Always apply a moisturising lip balm. Again, when they are dry I do tend to bite my lips which then make them red and sore, not nice!
5. Picking spots eww! - How tempting is it when you see a white head on your face, you just want to squeeze it! As much as I try not to pop spots, I do. I now look back at my face and see the tiny red marks/scarring that previous spots have left and I really regret popping them! I must leave them alone!
Well.... I have to say I was cringing whilst typing this post! Naughty naughty Emily! I'm now off to wash my makeup brushes ;)
