Review | Lush - The Mumkin

What They Say - "If you’re wondering just what sort of creature a Mumkin is then it’s no use asking us, because we don’t know either! All you need to know is that she’s cute, very friendly and loves to be crumbled under the tap to bring you mountains of fruity bubbles."
What I Say - As soon as I saw this cute little creature, sitting on the Lush shelf, I knew I had to have it. This is The Mumkin bubble bar which is a limited edition for Mother's Day!
I crumbled about a quarter of the bubble bar under running water and it turned the water a gorgeous pink colour! It produced lots of fluffy bubbles and it smells really fruity! The main scent is raspberries which is gorgeous.
The scent lingered around the bathroom for a good half hour. It left my skin feeling lovely and soft and I will definitely repurchase.
This is a perfect little gift for any mums out there that love a good bubble bath or you could even treat yourself!
Price - £2.75
Where To Buy - Lush

Haul | Lush, MUA, Primark & Barry M

On Tuesday I had a course to attend for work. I turned up at 9.30am only to be told that the course had been cancelled. So what's a girl to do with a free day in hand.....walk into town and go shopping of course ;).
I didn't have that many pennies but thought I would share with you what I picked up anyways.
From Lush I picked up the Aqua Marina fresh cleanser - £6.25. It claims to soothe and calm the skin. My skin has been crazy lately, what with the cold weather and myself having a cold. The lady in Lush tested this out on the back of my hand and it felt absolutely amazing. It has little bits of seaweed in it (which I have to admit is a little off putting) but the sales assistant says it will soften the skin and calm any redness, so I thought I would give it a try.
How cute is this lil girlie? This is the Mumkin Bubble Bar - £2.75. She is a limited edition for Mothers Day. I am obsessed with their Bubble Bars and couldn't wait to add this to my collection. It smells of sweet raspberries and has a cute little face. What's not to love? ;)
From Primark I picked up 3 sets of the 3 bracelets for only £1.50 each! I have started to see these appearing on a few blogs and Youtube videos. I think these bracelets are perfect for stacking and I can't wait to wear them in the summer!
I also picked up this Gold cross necklace for only £2. I'm really liking Gold jewellery at the moment and this was right up my street. I'm trying to accessorize more with my outfits, so this is a great item to start with.
Also from Primark, I spotted this gorgeous cream coloured coat with leather sleeves. I have seen a few celebrities rocking this coat and I really wanted one for myself. It cost £25 and I love it. Can't wait to wear it!
Next I went to Superdrug and picked up a few new goodies. I was browsing the Barry M beauty stand and noticed they had added a few new shades to their Gelly Hi Shine nail varnish collection. They were on offer for 2 for £6 so I picked Papaya which is a gorgeous Coral and Dragon Fruit which I can only describe as a Barbie pink. Take a look at my post here to see these on my nails.
I also took a little look at the MUA stand. I love Benefit's POREfessional primer but noticed this one, which is similar. It cost £4 and the primer is tinted just like the Benefit one. I have tried this already and I really like it!
I'm always looking for new products to make my makeup last all day. I saw this Pro-Base Fixing Mist for £5, also from MUA and thought I would give it a try. I'll let you know how I get on.

Amazing Deal On The Enrapture Totem Styler | Nerd Jumper | Going For A Run | My Little Blog Hit 75,000+ Hits/Views | I Bought The Enrapture Totem Styler! |Pancakes | Valentines Day Flowers | Valentines Day Flowers Again | Valentines Day Nails | Selfie | L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil | Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Varnishes

Instagram - egtx3

After reading lots of amazing reviews on the Enrapture Encode Totem Styler, I knew I had to try it for myself. But at a price of £74.99 I couldn't justify spending that much on it, so that's when I took to Twitter. I asked if anyone knew or had a discount code I could use to make it that little bit cheaper. A few lovely ladies got back to me and said Argos were selling it for £59.99 BUT then one amazing lady got back to me telling me that Boots.com were selling it for £29.99! OMG! I couldn't believe it. I went straight to Boots.com and placed an order!
I will be doing a full review on my blog soon, so keep and eye out for that :)
If you have seen my 'It's All About...Slogan tops/Jumpers'  post, you would have seen me mention this jumper from New look! It's such a vibrant pink with the word NERD across it. I know there is a lot 'talk' about these slogan jumpers, some good, some bad but I really like it!
My little blog hit 75,000+ hits/views! I couldn't believe it! I was so shocked to wake up to see that my blog is getting ever so close to hitting 100,000!! I am also very close at hitting my next follower milestone!

Mum made me pancakes for Pancake Day! I had Vanilla ice cream with mine. They were so yummy!
These are the beautiful flowers and chocolates that Liam got me for Valentines Day. He got them delivered to my work which was such a lovely surprise! :)
I bought some tiny decals from eBay and put them to use on Valentines Day. I painted my nails in Models Own Pink Blush and put a little sticker on each nail. The set had a variety of sizes with different pictures, lips, hearts and the word kiss.
Just a selfie picture of me trying out my new Enrapture Totem styler. I used setting 1-1-1 and this is how it turned out. I really like it and can't wait to experiment more with it.
I received a sample of the L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil in the post. I have been meaning to pick this up when I'm in Boots. I have heard a few good reviews on it and can't wait to try it for myself.
The Barry M Gelly Hi Shine nail varnishes in shades Papaya and Dragon fruit are gorgeous! I really want to own the full collection. Check out my post on them here.

Feel free to leave your Instagram names :)

Barry M | Gelly Hi Shine Nail Varnishes

When browsing Superdrug the other day, I took a look at the Barry M stand and noticed that their Gelly Hi Shine nail varnishes and Textured nail varnishes were on offer for 2 for £6! (Normally priced at £3.99)
I wasn't interested in the Textured nail varnishes but more so the Hi Shine's. They had so many lovely shades it was hard to pick. In the end I decided on Papaya which is a gorgeous Coral and Dragon Fruit which is a lovely Barbie Pink! :)
Just like all Barry M nail varnishes, these are incredibly easy to apply, dry quickly and smoothly.
I applied Papaya to my accent nail and Dragon fruit on the rest. It normally takes 2 coats of nail varnish for me to get my desirable finish but these needed 3. I found after applying the 3rd coat, the true colour was represented on my nails.
The great thing about these varnishes is that you don't need to add a top coat as they already have a super hi shine finish.
I think both of these shades would love amazing with a tan and I can't wait to wear them in the Summer!
They definitely live up to their name! They made my nails super shiny and very glossy.
The Gelly High Shines retail at £3.99 each and come in a selection of 13 shades. You can check out their selection here. I also have my eye on Blueberry, Greenberry and Prickly Pear.

Do you own any Barry M Gelly Hi Shines?

Smashbox | Try It Kit

A couple of weeks back I was looking into buying the Enrapture Encode Totem Styler but for £74.99 I couldn't justify spending that amount on it. So after taking to Twitter and letting everyone know I desperately wanted it, a lovely lady told me that Boots.com were selling it for £29.99! OMG! I went to have a look straight away and as quick as a flash it was in my basket! (Post coming soon!) But, of course I couldn't buy just one thing so had a little look to see if there was anything else I fancied.
I came across this little Smashbox Try It Kit for £19. I have heard great things about Smashbox products but never bought anything. I thought this little kit was perfect!
So onto today's post....
This little kit comes with 5 mini samples of Smashbox's best selling products;
Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Photo Finish Lid Primer
Hyperlash Mascara in Blackout
Lip Enhancing Gloss in Illume

I think this kit is perfect for people like me, who want to try new products but don't want to spend out on the full sizes just in case you don't like it. (Other companies take note!) So far I have tried the Photo Finish Primer and the Lid Primer and so far both products are amazing!

Review | Bracelets By Sweetaholic Charms

My lovely friend Rachel from Life Of A Sweetaholic has recently set up her own online shop selling cute cotton charm bracelets for very affordable prices. The shop is called Sweetaholic Charms which I love!
She has kindly sent me two bracelets of my choice to share with my lovely followers.
The bracelets came wrapped in such cute packaging, a little bag with pink spots. Inside, the bracelets were wrapped in tissue paper with 2 sweeties! That was very fitting seeing as it's called Sweetaholic Charms
The bracelets I picked were the cute little heart charm on hot pink cotton and the butterfly charm on Lilac cotton.
Sweetaholic Charms has a range of different charms and coloured cotton. The charms you can choose from are Butterflies, Hearts and Cupcakes. There is also a Multi Coloured Flower Bead bracelet you can choose.  The bracelets also come in a variety of coloured cotton - White, Dark Pink, Baby Pink, Teal and Lilac.
The length of the cotton is 30cm which gives you the option to trim as required and as the cotton is waxed, I found that it helped the knot stay in place and didn't slip off my wrist.
The prices currently range from 75p - £1.20 which is amazeballs (yes I just said amazeballs!) and very bank balance friendly.
These bracelets are perfect for stacking and wearing with other bracelets! I can see myself wanting one in every colour ;).
They would also make cute little gifts for family or friends or even if you fancied treating yourself!
All orders are sent via Royal Mail first class with a small postage fee.

Pop on over to Sweetaholic Charms and show Rachel some love! :)

Montagne Jeunesse | Passion Peel Off Face Mask

All our products are vegetarian-approved, made from natural ingredients and paraben-free. Montagne Jeunesse is proud of its uncompromising natural credentials and ethos for 'Conservation of Energy, Protection of Animals and the Environment.
All Montagne Jeunesse products are bursting with natural ingredients, goodness and are as eco-friendly as possible. Montagne Jeunesse are vegetarian and animals are our friends - that's why we don't bash bunnies or add bits of animals.

What They Say - "Gently peel away dead skin with our amazing Passion Peel Off deep cleansing masque. Our Pomegranate and Passion Flower formula cleans, purifies and protects leaving your skin feeling fresh and radiant."
What I Say - I received the Passion Peel Off Face Mask* just in time for Valentines Day! Montagne Jeunesse are re launching this face mask so you are able to 'Pamper your way to a passionate Valentine's'
The product is a reddish orange product which is slightly sticky. I applied a thin layer of product to clean, dry skin using my fingers. The packet suggest leaving the mask on for around 10-15 minutes (or until it is completely dry). I then peeled it away gently (which is the best bit) and washed off any stuck bits with warm water. I really like peel off masks as it feels like you are peeling away all the dead skin and impurities.
The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the smell, it really put me off using it but it did fade once it was applied.
This is a great face mask to use before that hot date or for a pamper night in with the girlies.

Price - 99p - £1.09 - Sachet

January Favourites

NAKED Skin Perfect Geataway Cleanser* | This is such a lovely cleanser, which left my skin looking and feeling amazing. Sadly I have been informed that NAKED are discontinuing it but if you would still like to read a more in depth review, you can view here.

Jimmy Choo Eau De Parfum | My friend got me on to this perfume and it smells amazing. I am useless at describing perfumes but after looking at the description online it is described as a warm and woody perfume with a hint of fruity florals. (The Eau De Toilette smells slightly different (apparently) from the Eau De Parfum).

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star | This product came with the big Soap and Glory gift set that was available before Christmas. The Smoothie Star leaves my skin feeling amazing and it smells just like popcorn! I love that it's a pump dispenser as I find it easier to use when applying. I can see myself repurchasing this body lotion in the future.

Dr.Jart+ Beauty Balm | I received a sample of the Beauty Balm just before Christmas, but only got round to using it last week. It is such a nice product and it's definitely the best BB cream/balm I have tried. I am really tempted to buy the full size, which is currently on offer in Boots!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation | After reading good reviews about this foundation, I thought I would pop to the Estee Lauder beauty counter and get matched up to my correct shade. I am the shade Desert Beige and it is such a perfect match for my skin. I love this foundation and it looks really nice when applied. I would say it is a medium to heavy coverage but natural enough to wear everyday.

Benefit They're Real! Mascara | This mascara has appeared in my monthly favourites a few times now and I am still loving it. It leaves my lashes looking long, full and amazing If you are looking for a new mascara, I would definitely recommend this one!

What are you favourites for the month of January?

Review | Rimmel Apocalips in Stellar, Apocaliptic & Nova

When I first heard about the Rimmel Apocalips, I was intrigued. I have heard a lot of raves about these lip lacquers and they have been named as a great dupe for the YSL Glossy Stains. (Who doesn't love a cheaper dupe?) Now seeing as I don't own a YSL Glossy stain I can't compare them but I can tell you that I am in love with these Apocalips.
Rimmel currently have a 3 for 2 offer across their beauty counter, so I thought I might as well pick up 3!
I chose Stellar, Apocaliptic and Nova.
Stellar - A pinky red
First of all I love the packaging. I love how the colours seem to merge with the colour of the product inside the tube. It has a cute crystal style lid which just twists off.
These have a doe foot applicator with a slight indent, which seems to contain more product, meaning when you apply the product you won't have to 'double-dip' to get extra product.
Apocaliptic - A bright fuchsia
The product it self is made up of a creamy consistency. They have a conditioning feel when on the lips and they don't have the dryness of a lipstick or the stickiness of a lip gloss. It glides on lovely and smoothly and you won't need to apply a lip liner before hand.
The lip lacquer staying power is reasonably good and when the shine of the product wears off, you are left with a gorgeous stain on the lip.
I do find that I have to blot my lips after application as I have found that it can work it's way on to your teeth. Not a good look!
Nova - A milky purple
Overall I am really impressed with these! The texture, finish and colour range!
These come in 8 different colours with a variety of pinks, reds and nudes. The shades are - Apocaliptic, Big Bang, Nova, Stellar, Galaxy, Celestial, Luna, Nude Eclipse
I am tempted to go and buy the rest in the collection!

Have you tried the Rimmel Apocalips? What's your favourite shade?
