MAC | Plink! Lipstick

Hello lovely ladies! I hope you are all well?
Today I want to share with you my latest winnings. I was lucky enough to win a MAC lipstick of my choice from the lovely Becca over at mintadelic. She announced I had won on Christmas Day, so it felt like an extra Christmas present for me :).
I was looking for a neutral shade lipstick that would be perfect for an everyday lip. I ended up picking Plink! which is described as a 'warm seashell pink' and has a lusture finish. It also has a slight shimmer to it, which reflects lovely when the light hits it.
As with all MAC lipsticks, it has a lovely vanilla scent which stays around for a short while on the lips.
I'd definitely recommend, 'Plink!' to anyone who is looking for a subtle yet easy to wear nude lipstick that will suit any skin tone.
Ever since I have received this, it has been my go to everyday lippy.

I love MAC lipsticks and I am building up a collection. Would anyone like to see a MAC lipstick collection post?

Won A Mac Lipstick | Cath Kidston Nail Files | Mac Blush Matches My Nails | New Phone Case | Liam & I In The Snow | NEW Apocalips | Green Tea Heart | Getting My Run On

Instagram - egtx3

I was lucky enough to win a MAC lipstick of my choice from Becca over at mintadelic. I chose Plink! which is a Lusture and it is perfect for an everyday lip colour. Post to follow soon :)
received these cute Cath Kidston nail files from a bloggers secret Santa. These are perfect to carry around in my bag and I love the pastel colour of them.
When using MAC's blush in Pink Swoon, I realised it matched my Barry M nails in shade Strawberry Ice Cream!
I bought a new phone case for my iPhone. I saw this cute Hello Kitty case on eBay and knew I had to have it! It cost £3.99 with free P+P so a right bargain! The only thing I don't like is that it does make my phone heavier to handle and it is a bit bulky but nonetheless I still love it!

I love this picture of Liam and I all wrapped up, playing in the snow! We took Liam's neighbours children to go and make a snowman. Who doesn't like making a snowman and snow angels? ;)
I got my hands on the ever so popular Rimmel Apocalips. I bought shades Stellar, Apocaliptic and Nova. Currently in Boots, they are having a 3for2 on all Rimmel products so I thought now was a perfect time to buy them. They are originally £5.99 each but still a bargain....a post to follow with more information on them ;)
Casually drinking my green tea and when I had finished I noticed this cute outline of a heart at the bottom of my cup! Just goes to show that Green Tea is good for you hehe!
I'm getting my run on! One of my new years resolutions is to be healthier and fitter, so I decided I'm going to start up running...again ;). I went and bought all my gear from Sports Direct as they were having MAJOR discounts. I already had my trainers as I use to run (a little) last year, so that was a plus. Liam also bought his running gear so I now have a running buddy!
If you have any good running/motivation songs, please leave me a comment below, I need to make a running playlist!

Feel free to leave your Instagram names :)

Review | Naked Skin Perfect Getaway Cream Cleanser

"Naked is a range of beauty products crammed with gorgeous high quality botanical extracts and made from at least 97% plant and mineral derived ingredients." Naked products are completely vegan and vegetarian friendly and they don't test on animals!

What They Say - "Our gentle cream cleanser is full of famous faces: aloe vera is well known for soothing and hydrating. It’s joined on the red carpet by cocoa butter which helps soften the skin and ginseng is all about the radiance darling!
Clinically tested for sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested. Fragrance free. Alcohol free. Vegetarian and vegan friendly."

What I Say - I have never tried anything from the Naked SKIN care range before, so I was excited to give the Cream Cleanser* a go. The product inside is very creamy and has a light natural scent. When I first used this cleanser, I used my Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser to remove the majority of my makeup and then the Naked Cleanser after. I applied a small amount to some cotton wool and gently swept it over my face. It removed any last traces of dirt and makeup. The next time I used it, I used it alone and it worked just as well. It removed all of my makeup, including my eye makeup! (Even though it's not intended too)
My skin felt amazing after use. It left it feeling super soft and any redness had been reduced.
One thing I don't like about this product is the packaging. The bottle is made out of plastic which means it's very hard to squeeze the product out. The top of the bottle has a 'press dispenser?' which also means tipping the bottle upside down to get some of the product out.
I am very impressed with this product and can see it being a staple in my skincare routine.
Price - £4.49 but currently on offer on their website - 200ml
*UPDATE - The reason this product is on offer is because they are sadly discontinuing it! So be sure to grab it quick if you want to try it!*
Where To Buy -  NakedBodyCare, Boots, Superdrug,
Rating - 8/10

Have you tried this cleanser or anything from Naked?

Diary Doll Period Pants | For Girls Eyes Only ;)

What They Say - "DiaryDoll is a girls best friend at a time when she needs it most. Used together with your normal sanitary protection, (be it tampons, pads or both), they will buy you enough time to save any humiliation, and no-one need know any different.
Put an end to those period dramas, and live life to the full, with DiaryDoll Period Pants."
What I Say - Periods hey!? No-one likes them! So when I heard of DiaryDoll Period Pants to make night time better, I was intrigued to try them out. I chose the DiaryDoll pants in Black*. They come in a little striped drawstring bag with a cute little bow on top. Once the tag comes off, the drawstring bag is completely discreet so you can carry it around with you without anyone knowing what's inside. You could also reuse it for something different!
These are to be worn with your regular sanitary protection be it tampons, pads or both.
Even though these pants are not my usual style, I found them very comfortable to wear. I like how they have a cute little pink bow on to add a touch of girly-ness! They are made out of a soft, light material and are 100% waterproof, so it makes them perfect for night time wear to avoid any embarrassing leaks. Great if your staying over at someones house for the night!
I think these are perfect for your 'heavier' days and gives you that extra bit of confidence!
The pants are available in small (8-10) medium (10-12) Large (12-14) and x large (14-16) and come in either Black or Pink.
Price - £9.99
Where To Buy - DiaryDoll

Rating - 10/10 - Such a brilliant idea!

Benefit | Crescent Row Limited Edition Perfume Set

I have never tried a fragrance from Benefit before, only their makeup, so when I saw this set reduced in Boots from £29.99 to £19.66 I thought I would pick it up.
It comes with 4x10ml perfumes from their permanent range. Laugh With Me Lee Lee, My Place Or Yours Gina, Ring My Bella and See & Be Seen Sasha. These are the perfect size to travel with or even keep in your handbag.

  • "Laugh With Me Lee Lee: woody floral - a light blend of citrus, jasmine & lily blossoms. a naturally light scent with a classic feminine style/light blend of citrus, jasmine & lily blossoms
  • My Place or Yours Gina: woody oriental - an alluring affair of pink pepper, wild raspberry & patchouli. a seductively provocative scent with a "flaunt it if you've got it" attitude/ pink pepper, wild raspberry & patchouli
  • Ring My Bella: a sweetly seductive fruity floral/pink rose petals, soft lily, summer daisy
  • See & Be Seen Sasha: a daring and captivating floral/orange flower absolute, apricot, pink freesia"

The bottles are made out of glass and they have a twist-off cap. I love the style and design of these bottles, the labels are cutely decorated and will look great sitting on my dresser. The only thing I would say is that I would have preferred if these were spray bottles and not the 'dabber' style.
I'm not too sure which one is my favourite as of yet, as I really like them all but I think I am slightly swaying towards See & Be Seen Sasha :)
One interesting thing I read on their website is that these perfumes are completely blendable, so you can mix and match the fragrances. So if the four don’t appeal by themselves try mixing two or three together for an entirely new fragrance!

If you would like to get your hands on this set, it is still available on the Benefit website!

Do you own a Benefit perfume? If so, which one?

UPDATE! I'm Back + Instagram - #3

London NYE | NYE Fireworks | Ted Baker Makeup Bag | Posing session | New Bag | Health Kick | Bailey | MAC Empties | Snow | Brrr -10! | New Fave Body Lotion | Internet is back!

Instagram - egtx3

Hellloooo, I'm back! I can't tell you how happy I am to be back blogging and on the Internet in general! I haven't had the Internet for 3 weeks, typical just after Christmas when I have so many new goodies to share with you.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Years! I was lucky enough to spend NYE in London, on Westminster bridge! Wow, what an amazing experience that was. I would definitely recommend going if you have never been before. The atmosphere was amazing and the fireworks were out of this world!
Mum treated me to a late Christmas present! She bought me this gorgeous Ted Baker makeup bag. Since getting my Ted baker purse for Christmas from my boyfriend, I have been obsessed with TB! I can't wait to get my new dresser and put this lil beaut on it. It looks so pretty!!

I am in love with my new bag from New Look! I have been on the hunt for a simple structured bag for a while now and this one is perfect. It was such a bargain at £19.99!
One of my new years resolutions is to eat healthier and try and snack less, I have been eating Natural yoghurt, blueberries and bananas for breakfast, it's so yummy! So far so good!
When putting my Christmas presents away I came across 7 empty MAC products. After tweeting to find out how many I can use for the 'Back 2 MAC' programme, I was happy to read that I needed 6! Can't wait to trade them in for a lovely new lipstick. Any shade recommendations?

I love the snow and how everything looks really pretty covered in it, especially when the sun shines and it sparkles!
I woke up this morning to find that the temperature was -10!! This made me want to stay in my nice warm bed and not go to work!
I have been loving the Soap and Glory Smoothie Star Body Milk, which I received for Christmas in the big Soap and Glory box! It smells gorgeous and leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft.
....And finally today, I got the Internet back after 3 weeks of not having it!! I can't wait to catch up on all of the lovely blogs I follow and get back to updating my blog regularly. :)

Feel free to leave your Instagram names :)
